Japanese electronic instruments manufacturer Roland developed and released the TR-808 in 1980 without probably knowing what they invented: one of the most successful and beloved drum synthesizer ever that -despite of being produced for only four years- influenced generations of musicians and songs. This device is pure musical culture.

34 years later, Roland announced the return of the legendary TR-808 in the form of the so-called Aria TR-08 which will be a kind of an upgrade to the classic instrument. There’s no more details on the new Aria, but have a look at the recently released video:
