As stated on Scooter’s homepage, Scooter-founder Rick J. Jordan leaves the band after 20 years. Rick’s last Scooter-performance will be on January 24th, 2013 in Hamburg which marks the last stop of their “20 Years of Hardcore”-tour. Rick will spend his time on new projects.

This sets a cut for the band that went into the books as the most successful German band ever. Or as Rick says: “After 20 smashing Hardcore years, I recognized more and more that it’s time to do something new, to check out new musical ways and to spend more time with my family and friends”.

But Scooter will not stop here: the new album “The fifth Chapter” is announced for early 2014.
