The news just came in that BBC Worldwide will produce and air an hour-long documentary about French Dance superstars Daft Punk in 2015. The UK company plans to tap the French film studio and distributor Canal + Group for what co-producer Patrice Gellé describes as the “first independent movie on the iconic group Daft Punk”. The still untitled docu-tale will be directed by Hervé Martin Delpierre and co-written by Marina Rozenman and outlines layouts to explore the vast successes and milestones of the group’s 20-year career.
